You either love it or you hate it
28 Jul 2001, Seamus Waldron
Marmite. Mmmm. Ever since I was a baby I've enjoyed the taste of this black nectar. My favourite way to enjoy this marvel of yeast extraction is with sliced tomato betwixt two slices of buttery toast. It is also one of the best hangover cures I know.
I used to be the only person out of 20 people who had Marmite when the breakfast order was placed. I've managed to convert 4 people so far.
Eat Marmite.
Resistance is futile.

We livein Greece on the peloponnese and cannot find one marmite stockist please help as our marriage is in danger of collapsing after 47yrs thro` lack of the mighty marmite
John Woollen Kyparissia (Messinnia)
My first encounter with Marmite was in 1968 when I was a schoolboy in East Grinstead, UK. At tea time, along with a pint of (often sour) milk, you had the choice of bread and butter or bread; butter and Marmite. I chose the latter as it helped get the dreadful milk down. I have been a fan of the fragrant mixture for almost 40 years now. Indeed, this evening after returning from work and feeling peckish, I treated my self to several slices of crisp wheaton toast adorned with margerine and Marmite. What luxury! Could one combine two of the Empires greatest exports, spam and Marmite?
