Marmite rice crackers and breadsticks
14 Jul 2007, Seamus Waldron
Now, I love Marmite crisps, Marmite crackers and I'm still getting though Marmite with Guinness, so I am VERY excited about the new Marmite Rice Crackers and Marmite Breadsticks! In stores now, I'll be taste testing soon...
The press release:
Snack time is about to divide the nation into lovers and haters with the arrival of new Marmite Rice Cakes and Marmite Breadsticks. Bursting with Marmite flavour, they are the perfect antidote to the bland.
Die hard fans can now satisfy their craving with a Marmite fix at any time of the day. Not only do Marmite Rice Cakes and Marmite Breadsticks have that distinct loved ad hated Marmite-y flavour, but they are rich in B vitamins and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Office workers wanting an energy boost during the mid-afternoon slump need look no further than Marmite Breadsticks. Low in fat, Marmite Rice Cakes are a good option for slimmers bored with cardboard tasting snacks; healthy snacks can be tasty too.
Cheryl Calverley, Brand Manager, Marmite, says: "This is a really exciting extension to the Marmite brand. Marmite has always been loved as a breakfast spread, but now our consumers can also get their Marmite fix during the day."
Marmite Rice Cakes and Breadsticks will be available from July (RRSP £0.59 each) Stockists include Tesco and Morrisons.

Please can you start selling these in multi-packs? Possibly with slightly smaller individual packs? Thanks.

Im glad people are taking to this product as it is keeping me in a job. My warehouse is the only one in the country that receives these items in from holland and italy. We have seen a rapid increase in the turn around of stock since the launch of these great products. Pot of Marmite and the breadsticks are a must for any Marmite lover. HAPPY MUNCHING

Does anyone know where i can find the large marmite rice cakes, supermarkets seem to sell the plain rice cakes, and i used to get marmite ones from tesco, but cannot find them anywhere now.

Discovered both the breadsticks and rice crackers today. Although the rice crackers aren't bad, the breadsticks are quite bland and don't taste particularly Marmitey to me. Neither are great value at 59p, the breadsticks bag is tiny!
An interesting experiment, but I'm sure better permutations of Marmite and other foodstuffs could be easily forged...!

Since discovering the Marmite biscuits etc and breadsticks I find they make a gorgeous lunch with some low fat Edam cheese etc. I love marmite also so does my son. I love marmite on toast with poached/scrambled egg on top as well.
I visited Lincoln a week ago and found in a shop Marmite bread and it was quite nice, now I don't know where else I can purchase it.
I too like the flatbreads.
